A machine light designed for robustness and versatility, while also complying with the requirements of the Ecodesign Directive, is now available from ifm.

The device features a smooth surface and hygienic design, making it ideal for a range of applications in demanding areas. The materials used are robust and selected to provide a long service life.

With a length of 250 mm and the option of connecting by means of an M12 connection, it offers flexibility and versatility. Up to four lights can be arranged in a row to enhance illumination. The machine light offers an efficient white light and vibrant red, green and blue signal colours and it is priced to compete with conventional products that provide only white light.

The light is controlled using four 24 V DC channels, and the IO-Link integration using the DP1615 enables various control options.

The use of plastic injection moulding technology makes the machine light robust and resistant to chemicals. The sheathing protects the electronics and ensures a long service life, even in demanding environments. It is mounted using a universal mounting clip, which can be attached with a screw, magnet or ifm clamp.
